Gizel Logan

Gizel Logan: Male, age unknown. Head scientist of the Kartel and formerly one of the Seven Shards, a group of the most brilliant scientists of the Empyrean. A remarkable genius, but also a man of questionable morality and ethics, he despises losing and will do anything to win.
While he was recognized as one of the best, when young Melvin Richter joined the Seven Shards his brilliance began to pale in comparison. After witnessing the birth of the Kartel and at the request of a certain mage known as Iris Fortunesinger he joined the Kartel to pursue his own ambitions and best Melvin someday. Even after the Kartel was defeated he evaded capture and began his journey of fleeing and vengeance.
During his journey he collected data and tech from various sources and assimilated them as his own while improving them with horrible experiments. And with every defeat he tasted at the hands of the adventurers, his hate only grew stronger. He will do whatever it takes, even holding hands with the Keening One who would fulfill the prophecy and bring doom upon the world. He will have what he deserves.

Gizel, the resident 'team rocket' of DFO and the embodiment of 'how many times do we have to teach you this lesson old man???'. For years the players have defeated him, from Kartel Invasion, Time Gate and to Pandemonium War, and every time he would miraculously avoid death like a slippery rat. As a mad scientist he also conducted experiments on various characters in the story, such as Blitz of the male gunners and Tagor of the Kashipa. We haven't seen the last of him nor his machinations, and he will soon reveal himself once again.
