The Mage Sisters

Flaming Binoche (or Vinoshu, the Flame in KDNF): Female, age 29. The older of the mage sisters and a master of flame magic. She has a genuine passion for magic, and in order to further her studies she headed to Gran Flores. However, after witnessing the metastasis and monsters crawling out of Shadow Sunderland, she set the forest aflame with magical fire, which does not spread, in order to prevent anyone going in or out. When the adventurers arrived, she challenged them to test whether they could handle the dangers of the Shadow Sunderland.
- Prior to the Origins update, she was simply an insane mage, using her flames to reenact the events of the Great Blaze that destroyed Gran Flores.

Ice-Locking Keraha (or Keraha, the Frost in KDNF): Female, age 27. The younger of the mage sisters and a master of freezing magic. She followed her sister to the Gran Flores to look after her, but after seeing the forest on fire the trauma of the Great Blaze triggered her and she began freezing everything around her. When she saw the adventurers and Toby she assumed they were going to cause more fire and attacked them as well.
- Prior to the Origins update she, like her sister, went insane, mindlessly freezing anything and anyone in the forest.
