Arad Times (Issue 5, Christmas Special): Teida Beonarr

Teida Beonarr: Male, age 30. A monk of the Order of Priests and one of the four Archpriests. A descendant of Wolfgand Beonarr of the Holy Five, his strength is so great that it is said that a single punch from him can demolish a boulder. His rough and vicious words and action make him a difficult person to approach. An extremist when it comes to the imposters, he believes that they need to be destroyed on sight, an opinion that often clashes with that of Oberith, another of the Archpriests. "Anything that's evil must be eradicated, even if it's your own family."

The Order of Priests: A religious organization that devotes itself to faith in Lemidios and training of priests against the imposters. First formed by Michael of the Holy Eye during the 1st Black Crusade, it started off as an organization of those who received revelations and could reveal imposters. Under the lead of Michael and the Holy Five they drove off Ozma, but as his influence never truly disappeared they remained vigilant and over the years became the Order that it is today. The current archbishop of the Order is Magar Rosenbach, a descendent of Milan Rosenbach of the Holy Five. Their headquarters and priests' primary training facility, Lemidia Basilica, is located at Hendon Myre. There also are several other churches located across the Aradian continent, such as Lemidia Cappella, the inquisition headquarters, and Lemidia Chrysos, a branch of the De Los empire. It also has a group of priests known as the Avengers who, despite having become imposters, have maintained their sanity and righteousness through faith.

From the playable characters both the male and female priests are from the Order regardless of their class. Despite their common faith in Lemidios, their beliefs and opinions on matters may differ, especially when it comes to sinners and imposters. Extremists such as Teida and Lucillie believe in their absolute eradication, while there are others such as Oberith who believe in their chance of redemption. The tension seems to be only getting worse after the 2nd Black Crusade.

Special thanks to halfmango for helping with the background lore.

P.S. Now hear me out before you say that this isn’t fitting for Christmas. I have got a rock solid chain of relatability here. Christmas -> Religion -> Church-> The Order of Priests -> Teida Beonarr -> Gigachad. It makes absolute sense. Right?
P.P.S. This is not a real magazine.
P.P.P.S. The short audio cut is from “Can You Feel My Heart” by Bring Me The Horizon.
